In 2018 I released Feminism Is: South Africans Speak Their Truth and was really grateful that it reached a wide audience and sparked some interesting conversations.
I was interviewed by Fadiyah Rabin for UCT’s Her Campus for an article titled 20 questions for Jennifer Thorpe. We spoke about feminism, writing, and tackling the patriarchy.
The North Coast Courier covered the book launch of Feminism Is in Ballito where I spoke with contributors Larissa Klazinga and Olwethu Makhathini about their work in the book. We spoke a lot about violence, anger, and the importance of both.
