IOl interviewed several feminists, including me, about femicide in South Africa following the rape and murder of student Uyinene Mrwetyana. The piece was titled Femicide in SA: Are these the solutions?
I was also interviewed by ENCA news about GBVin South Africa in my role as a Commissioner for Gender Equality about the high levels of GBV in South Africa, the Joint Sitting of Parliament on GBV, and the difference between the budget for responding to GBV and the presidential promises.
I also appeared on The Womxn Show about South Africa’s GBV Policy and Legislation alongside other gender activists.
